From sketch to design

The production process begins with sketches provided by our clients. Whether in graphic, photographic, or verbal form, our team expertly interprets the initial concept, developing every detail and turning creative ideas into tangible reality.

Design and CAD

We manage the entire prototyping process, from pattern creation to the final prototype, using CAD technology and software such as Gerber, Investronica, Assyst, and Lectra. Our high-tech digital tools allow us to refine original ideas with exceptional precision. We combine expert craftsmanship with advanced software expertise to ensure an optimal balance of quality, accuracy, and speed.

Prototype creation

Highly skilled seamstresses then create the first prototype, which serves both an aesthetic and functional purpose to assess the garment’s alignment with the original concept. This initial two-dimensional paper model, which accounts for the garment’s measurements and design details, then undergoes further refinement to improve its fit and appearance. Once the prototype fully reflects the original idea and is approved by the client, the final pattern is created for mass production.

Size development

Once the base size pattern passes the fitting and correction stage, all the other required sizes are developed, ensuring they are proportionally and aesthetically identical to the prototype.

Pattern placement

This step occurs after size development and involves the automated arrangement of all pattern pieces across the different sizes. The aim is to maximize fabric efficiency, minimize waste, and enhance production efficiency.

Industrialization

One of the most critical aspects of our work is the ability to industrialize a product. This means making it reproducible on a large scale while maintaining competitive costs, timelines, and quality standards. Today, 16-11 is one of the few players in the industry capable of offering this service, thanks to the expertise and skills our team has developed over nearly 20 years of experience.

Industrial washing

We ensure the utmost care for the finished garment, providing high-quality washing and treatments for all fabric types, using the latest technologies and highly specialized personnel.

Professional ironing

The industrial ironing system enhances the garment’s design, ensuring the final result perfectly aligns with the specifications. For this service, we collaborate with external partners equipped with professional machines, molds, and presses, capable of ironing all types of garments and their various components. Each garment is then carefully and professionally packed.

Sample production

Sample production begins after prototype approval, fitting adjustments, and any necessary modifications. This service caters to clients with specific needs, for example, who are launching new collections on the market or showcasing fresh offerings to their sales network.

Small production runs
(Made in Italy)

We manage all stages of production, working with a network of highly qualified suppliers coordinated by our in-house team, to deliver exclusively Made in Italy clothing for men, women, and children.
